Which batting gloves can you make?
We make two leather batting glove styles for baseball and softball, in adult and youth sizes. Each style can carry your logo and colors:

What do batting gloves do?
Baseball Monkey says batting gloves give a better grip on the bat, cut the risk of blisters and absorb shock or vibration on contact. Bruce Bolt adds that they keep sweat from spoiling grip and "reduce stinging," especially on mishits in cold weather.

What sizes do batting gloves come in?
Rawlings sizes batting gloves by hand length, from the base of the palm to the top of the middle finger, and Tater Baseball's chart uses the same ranges:

Charts vary by brand. Tater Baseball says to measure both hands, use the larger number and size down between sizes, because leather breaks in. Growing youth players mid-season are the exception and should size up.

Cabretta or sheepskin palm: which should I choose?
Both are sheep leathers. Cabretta comes from sheep that grow hair rather than wool (Dictionary.com), and Grip Boost says it is thinner and softer than cowhide or goatskin.
Bruce Bolt uses 0.9 mm cabretta in its batting gloves, which is that brand's own spec. Our sheepskin-palm style costs less per pair than the cabretta style. See glove leather types.

Can you make batting gloves with our team logo?

Are batting gloves PPE in the EU?
Not as grip gloves. The European Commission's PPE guidance says sport gloves designed to "ensure a good grip or stability," or to absorb shock for comfort and performance, are not PPE. A glove marketed with a protective claim can become PPE.
Batting gloves sold to EU consumers still fall under the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). Read EU rules for glove importers.
